The generous contributions received from all those who supported our initiatives have been crucial for Uninorte in providing high-quality educational opportunities to talented young people in the region who lack the resources to access higher education. Through these donations, in 2024 we were able to offer four new scholarship slots for the Orgullo Caribe Egresado program, which covers 100% of the tuition of the first two semesters of the chosen academic program.
Thanks to the fundraising efforts through GlobalGiving, we have also been able to strengthen initiatives such as WSTEM, Inés Gómez Prada, “30 años de Comunicación Social y Periodismo”, and “ Beca Líderes Globales”, all of which aim to reduce the gap in access to higher education in disadvantaged and low-income communities on the Colombian Caribbean Coast.
Your generosity not only creates new opportunities for these students, but also provides the essential tools for them to contribute to the development of their communities and the country. Through scholarships and aid for food, transportation, and educational materials, we are transforming lives and building a more inclusive future for our region.With your support, we are paving the way for a more just and equitable future for all.
