Maria José made her dream come true: to study her career at Universidad del Norte.

Maria Jose is a 16 year old girl from Sincelejo, a municipality in the Caribbean Region. Her life was transformed when she received a call informing her that she had been selected as a scholarship recipient for International Relations at the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla.

Thanks to the generosity of 64 donors who placed their trust in the Uninorte Scholarship Program, María José realized her dream of studying at a high quality university.

María José is motivated and grateful for the opportunity to study at Uninorte, and above all, she is happy to have become an example for many deserving but economically challenged young people in Sincelejo who do not have the possibility to enter higher education institutions.
