Facilitating Action for Community Empowerment (FACE South Sudan) has been actively supporting returnees who fled the Sudan crisis and have settled in Renk County, Upper Nile State. During a recent project monitoring visit, FACE provided food and non-food items to 50 returnee households. This assistance helped these families sustain themselves for several days as they continued to face challenges in rebuilding their lives.
However, the situation has worsened due to recent flooding, which has further impacted returnees and refugees in the region. FACE is urgently seeking additional support for women and children who are most vulnerable in this critical time.
