Support quality education of underprivileged kids

We are pleased to share the progress of needy children in their education and thankful to GlobalGiving team for giving the opportunity to support all the children. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the donors who are part of ensuring the following result.

Sashakti empowering people offers a highly subsidized education to over 70 students in classes Pre-nursery to 6th. Striving to maintain small class sizes and retain quality teachers.

Our student have participated in the district level school completion and won the consolation prizes, though we know it’s not enough but for us its great achievement as we know from where our students come from. We are focusing on each and every child so that they can compete any school competition. 

This year we have launce the program Samanta which provide educational opportunity to girls, from socially and economically disadvantaged communities of India, who traditionally have no access to schooling. We ensure that the sponsored girl children get at least 12 years of school education. Under this program our partner Nav Lakshmi Public school is enrolling all girls free of cost admission in the school.

Sashakti identified 75 poorest of the poor children and distributed school supplies (books, slates, pens, pencils, slate pencils, erasers and sharpeners)
