The project will help support overall development and high quality education for children of daily wage workers in Chandauli, India. This project will help provide technology based affordable high quality education in rural areas at minimal cost, Free Tuition fees for children of daily wage workers, Scholarships in the form of reduced tuition for children from disadvantaged background.
Chandauli is one of the underdeveloped cities in India with little focus on quality education of children. Though there are lot of private schools in the area, quality education focusing on overall development of children is one of the main issues. Schools with high quality education charge large amount of monthly fees which parents living in the area cannot afford. Parental guidance for children is missing due to lack of awareness in parents.
Sashakti is aiming at providing high quality technology focused education to 150 kids living in the area. The project will help provide free tuition fees for children of daily wage workers, scholarships in the form of reduced tuition for children from disadvantaged background. The project will focus on helping children learn to speak English fluently, enhance math, science and reading skills by providing extra classes to children. Health and hygiene of enrolled children will also be priority.
Project will help overall development of children and will help provide guidance to parents. The project is aiming at motivating children and developing a sense that education is very important to improve quality of life. We are expecting a long term impact on the quality of life of these children.
