February 2016 Final Report
By Christine Pawliuk | Project Manager
This will be the final report for this project. Unfortunately, we have not been able to raise enough funds to develop this project as originially envisioned. Instead, the Guria Youth Resource Center is planning to establish an English Language and Career Building Academy to teach career skills to youth and increase their employability skills. This will still be a social enterprise established by the GYRC, and the main goal of the enterprise will be to cover educational and professional development costs for socially vulnerable, ex-convict and probationary youth. The donations you have generously provided will be used to cover part of the rehabilitation costs for our existing space.
Your donations will still be used to provide employment skills to vulnerable groups within Georgia, but if you are unhappy with this change, GlobalGiving offers a guarantee and will provide a voucher for you. You can find more information about the guarantee here: https://www.globalgiving.org/guaranteed/.
Thank you one last time for your generosity!

November 2015 Progress Report
By Tamar Ghlonti | Project Director
We have recieved the first installment for the project. Thanks to GlobalGiving for such a wonderful opportunity, and to those who have already donated!
We are continuing to promote the project and attract new donors. We have also been updating the market analysis and readying plans necessary to ensure that this enterprise is a success when it launches. We are looking forward getting the enterprise functioning, but for this we need the final amount to begin implementing the project.
The project will play a significant role in the socialization and re-integration of ex-convicts and probationers--giving them a second chance at life.
Once we have reached the final goal or started using the money disbursed to our organizational account, we will provide spending report as well as narrative about our progress.

By Tamar Ghlonti | Project Director
We have recieved the first installment for the project. Thanks to Globalgiving for such a wonderfull opportunity. Amount disbursed is on the account of the organization and we do not want to spend it until the final goal is achieved and final sum is accumulated.
There is the greated demand from various organizations on printing and publishing services, which will be offered by the social enterprise. We are looking forward to reach final goal and get the enterprise functioning but for this we need the final amount to accomplish the project.
The project will play significant role in the socialization and re-integration of ex-convicts and probationers to give them second chances for life.
Once we have reached final goal or start using the money disbursed to the organization account, we will provide spending report as well as narrative abour progress.
