`The cost of one surgery can run an entire family into hardship, and families that cannot afford, lose their loved ones to curable and preventable conditions. Some children are born with heart defects, hydrocephalus, spina bifida, or develop cancer, burns, cataracts, and other serious conditions. Without financial support, treatment is delayed or abandoned, putting lives, health, education, and future opportunities at risk.
Through the Patient Rescue Fund, Hereafter Ghana provides financial assistance to children and vulnerable patients who cannot afford essential healthcare. Funds help cover medical assessments, laboratory tests, medications, chemotherapy, hearing aids, surgeries, hospital care, and other critical treatments. By removing financial barriers, patients can access timely care and improve their chances of recovery and survival.
The Patient Rescue Fund has already helped more than 200 vulnerable patients access life-saving treatment, surgeries, medications, and specialized care. With continued support, hundreds more children and families will receive timely healthcare, preventing avoidable deaths and disabilities. The fund will help restore health, sight, hearing, and mobility, enabling beneficiaries to attend school, work, and live healthier, more productive lives.
