About ITVT centers
There is a growing demand for Information Technology and vocational training among the poor urban and rural communities including communities around our Udayan homes. We have also found the use of computer and IT vitally important in our counseling programme for the children of Udayan Homes. Thus, the project intends to focus on mixed communities; communities who are located around our Udayan Homes and those in the densely populated clusters of slums, resettlement colonies and other low income settlements by setting up IT & VT centers for imparting Information Technology and vocational skills training.
Program Vision
To broaden horizons and bring IT close to the lives of underserved rural and urban communities in Delhi and NCR, and thus empower them for greater job prospects

Email writing
In Udayan Care IT programme we are intensely focusing to train the trainees in a proficient manner, our well qualified faculties give their best to train the youth in computer software skills. Simultaneously to make our regular classes more enthusiastic and happening we try to find the people who have expertise in the relevant field whereby to make the youth familiar with the industry where they would involve themselves as an employee in near future.
On 9th Sept 2017, we have conducted a workshop in our East Vinod Nagar IT Centre; the workshop topic was "Email Writing" 55 youths from three different IT Centers attended this workshop. We are really thankful to Mr Arjun (Volunteer) who took the responsibility to polish our centre's youth email writing skills in a professional manner. It was quite encouraging to see the number of students who showed up. During the session Mr Arjun covered the topics like: - introduction of email writing, basics of email writing, how to write formal emails?, use of message, what points to remember, why quick view is important. It was a great learning experience for the students with in-depth use of email writing in a formal manner.
Joy of giving week – Nukkad Naatak
There are a lot of things in the world that can make us smile but nothing beats the invaluable joy of making someone happy. Daan Utsav is India’s festival of giving that brings people from various sectors together, to celebrate and spread the joy of sharing. Held annually in the first week of October (2nd-8th), the festival has empowered millions of Indians to give back to the society.
Udayan Care IT Centre students celebrated joy of giving week every year enthusiastically, this year our students came forward to celebrate again, amazingly with an innovative idea and theme which is “Lets create awareness”
In East Delhi Udayan Care runs two IT Centre at East Vinod Nagar & West Vinod Nagar, our west vinod nagar centre is a hub to produce graphic designers and East Vinod Nagar centre is dedicated to provide training in E-accounting & basic fundamentals of computer. Students from both the centres selected theme "Malnutrition" to create awareness in nearby community. They chose the area of Yamuna Khadar (Nearby Commonwealth Games village) where many daily wage earners are residing. Our students found that the people in that locality are not aware about the relevance of nutrition, children are facing diseases but their parents not able to recognize the diseases due to lack of knowledge and poor education.
40 Students from our UC IT, Vinod Nagar center performed a Nukkad Naatak at the Yamuna Khadar slum area with the aim of creating awareness pertaining to malnutrition.
Through the Nukkad Naatak, they highlighted the fact that one-third of the world's children who are victim of malnutrition, live in India and are in dire need of help and how we can help them to overcome the situation. The play was immensely impactful as it managed to get the attention of the large population of that area. After the Naatak, our children distributed fruits and juices to the children of the yamuna Khadar community.
