Workshops Conducted
Career Counseling Workshop
In one of our centers (Badarpur, a city in Delhi), Udayan Care organized a career counseling workshop with help of our corporate partner, Accenture. The workshop was conducted with aim to widen the knowledge of students regarding the available career opportunities after completing any particular course, for example HTML student can work in digital marketing companies as well as website designing agencies etc.
Poster Making Competition
In one of our centers (Vinod Nagar, a city in Delhi), Udayan Care conducted small poster making competition for students on the themes of Save Water and Digital Literacy. Everybody enjoyed the competition thoroughly and have made the best use of colors to bring out their perspective of saving water and digital literacy on to the drawing sheets.
Miracle of Hopes
Sonia (Name changed) might just be another 19 year old girl but her achievements stand tall and speak volumes about her courage and hard work to change her circumstances. The boundaries of her Kalyan Puri slum became too small as she took a giant leap crossing them to realise her dreams. Undeterred by her father’s death and the inability of her uneducated mother to support Sonia, she nevertheless completed her graduation from Delhi University along with pursuing Udayan Care’s course in typing which ultimately placed her with AMS Comtel in their accounts department.
A stable job and a reasonable monthly income gave her the background to dream even bigger. She has also completed a Stenographic course from the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and hopes to secure a government job soon. She also has a brother to look after, who is proud of his sister’s achievements and wants to become like her.
