Udayan Care initiated Computer Literacy Programme to broaden horizons and bring IT close to the lives of underserved rural and urban communities in Delhi and NCR, and thus empower them for greater job prospects. Since the uniqueness lies in the fact that it apart from providing Computer Literacy Programme to youth, the programme it helped in capacity building of the trainers to increase their application skills and teaching skills. Following are activities organised to build the capacity of the trainer.

  • To expand the knowledge of our trainers a workshop on CSS (Cascade style sheet) was organised. Our in-house resource person Mr. Hari Shankar taught our trainers to use the language for describing the look and formatting of a document written in a markup language.
  • To enhance the teaching skills of the trainers, a workshop on effective teaching skills was organised. The workshop was organised by Mr Swayam Mohanty & Mr Bhansakarn. The workshop talked about means of effective teaching and how to make the teaching effective and interesting.

Following are the Donors Visits organised to the center:

  • Charities Aid Foundation (one of our donor) visited the center for monitoring the working and functioning of the center.
  • UPS foundation (One of our donor) visited our Badarpur centre (one of our 8 centers) and organised activities like extempore, quiz and public speaking to build the confidence among students.
