Many communities in sub-Saharan Africa have limited access to everyday dental hygiene products. We have secured donations of 1,700 toothbrushes and matching toothpaste supplies, but without funding for transport, these items cannot reach the people who need them. The cost of shipping donated goods overseas is often the final barrier between essential supplies and the communities they are intended to support.
Funding will cover the cost of shipping these donated dental hygiene supplies on an aid container to Africa. Inter Care will work with trusted healthcare partners to distribute the toothbrushes and toothpaste to clinics, community organisations and vulnerable groups. By covering transport costs, this project will ensure donated items are put to immediate use rather than remaining in storage.
This project will enable 1,700 people to access essential dental care items they may otherwise go without. Better oral hygiene can reduce discomfort, support confidence, and encourage healthy daily routines.
