This project will fund new instruments and supplies for Playing For Change Foundation's Musica Music Institute in the Lalitpur District of Kathmandu, Nepal. With the help of our GlobalGiving supporters, we'll be able to enroll even more students in our free classes, providing a music education to young adults that inspires creativity, promotes peace, and unites the community.

Nepal is a country still struggling with many challenges, including poverty, pollution, unemployment, women's rights and a lack of opportunity for young people to contribute to their society.

Through the Musica Program we're giving the young people of Nepal an opportunity to not only learn music, but to use the music they've learned to give back to their community. The Musica performance and other social action projects benefit the most marginalized and at risk children in their society.

Long-Term Impact

A future of young leaders in Nepal that will not only be able to share all the joy and important values music brings but also to teach others to lead and give back in ways that could have a lasting impact on their country.
