Dear donors,
We are delighted to share another update from the Libertad Eterna Sports Center. Over the past weeks, we have focused on improving and refining the work already completed, while continuing to make steady progress on key construction milestones.
We carried out improvements and adjustments to the exterior wall panels and almost completed the first coat of exterior plastering, bringing the changing rooms closer to their final appearance. At the same time, we continued advancing the water supply system and excavated the pit for the underground water tank. This was one of the most challenging tasks so far, as the high groundwater levels in the area made the concrete work particularly difficult. Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved, we successfully overcame these challenges.
In the coming weeks, we will complete the heat-fused water supply piping, install the pumping system for the underground tank, begin the ceiling structure, and apply the final coat of exterior plaster.
Every step brings us closer to opening a safe and welcoming space where children, adolescents, and young adults can enjoy sports, recreation, and new opportunities.
Thank you for continuing to support this project. Your generosity helps us keep moving forward, and we look forward to sharing even more progress with you in our next update.
Best wishes,
Engineering Without Borders Argentina
