Dear friends, the year 2013 has been a tremendous kick start year to our project. Thanks to your support, we were able to upgrade the children’s hematology department at the Institute of Oncology in Chisinau with so much needed medical equipment.
As we have previously communicated, in the first quarters of the year, we bought 2 infusion pumps (infusomats) and a V100 monitor. This equipment is indispensable - infusomats will let use medication in controlled and economic way, and monitor will control blood pressure and temperature pre- and post-surgery.
In addition, in August - October we bought:
1. Infusomat transfusion lines (323 units);
2. Sterifix infusion filters (200 units);
3. Vasofix intravenous catheters (200 units);
4. Discofix systems for infusion therapy and monitoring (200 units);
5. Perfusor syringes, sterile dressings and other accessories.
This equipment will let our doctors to continue performing an amazing work and help our little patients feel their hospital stay less stressful. Our heartfelt wish is to see these children healthy!
As we approach the end of the year, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your generosity and hope that you remain our supporters in the year 2014. We wish you bright and healthy holidays and a happy new year!
