Support Moldovan Children with Cancer

Dear supporters, we have continued serving needs of the children’s hematology department at the Oncology Department in Chisinau, Moldovan capital. In addition to so much needed infusion pumps, we have purchased large quantity of peripheral equipment such as catheters, perfusion tubes, syringes, antibacterial filters, and etc. This high quality equipment was produced by B. Braun Medical Inc., a global leader in infusion therapy and pain management. It will ensure pervasive usage of infusion pumps which will result in better practices and higher children’s safety.

Since the time of opening of our project, we had to re-examine our goals and mission. Due to increased support in medical procurement funding from the part of the state agencies, we shifted our focus to the department's wider needs. Our assistance will not be limited by purchases of medicine but will include a medical equipment such as described, devices and accessories, and even smaller things that will assist department in functioning efficiently and, on the other hand, make children’s stay in the hospital less painful and traumatic.
