Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan’s Mobile Health Units (MHUs) are continuously providing medical assistance to families affected by Flood 2025. These units are reaching distant and hard-to-access areas where communities have been cut off from basic healthcare services. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, MHUs are actively serving the districts of Buner, Swat, Malakand, Swabi, Dir Lower, and Shangla, while similar services are also being extended to the affected areas of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB). With waterborne diseases rapidly erupting in the aftermath of the floods, there is a dire need for urgent medical attention to prevent further loss of life. Equipped with doctors, paramedics, and essential medicines, the MHUs are addressing critical health issues such as diarrheal diseases, skin infections, respiratory illnesses, and maternal and child healthcare. These timely interventions are saving lives, curbing disease outbreaks, and reducing health risks faced by disaster-stricken communities, reaffirming Alkhidmat’s unwavering commitment to stand with the victims of Flood 2025.
