We launch this emergency campaign as an urgent call to inform you that our patients are at risk due to the shortage of drugs and the limited operational resources in the dialysis center in Kafr Takhareem in north of Syria. While we send you this call, a patient's life is on the line!
Renal failure in a besieged area means double suffering! There are 36 kidney failure patients in northwest Syria, and they are relying on Kafr Takhareem dialysis center to stay alive as they need 315 dialysis sessions on monthly basis. The area in northwest Syria is considered like a besieged area with limited resources. Those patients cannot travel, and they do not have any other means to maintain their life and access to specialized health care services.
We continue to stop kidney failure! This center has been operating for a decade without interruption, thanks to your continued support and generosity, without which kidney failure patients would have been at serious risk. For years, SEMA has been regularly providing important specialized healthcare services free of charge for the renal failure patients along with providing medicines especially erythropoietin.
Help us support 36 kidney failure patients who need dialysis sessions in northwest Syria. Your support enables those patients to live a completely normal life like healthy people as many of them can work and carry out their daily chores through relying on treatment sessions. Your support will make a tangible difference in the life of entire families, so let's continue this great humanitarian mission and join the list of life-makers!
