Dear ICAP Friends,
We have some great news to share and much appreciation to impart. First, a huge round of thanks to all ICAP alumni, advisors, friends, the ICAP Alumni Association Board and the Advisory Council for your generous and thoughtful giving! Truly, we could not fund ICAP without your support. Individual gifts are a critical part of our funding pipeline so we are fortunate to be able to count on your annual commitment to bring in a new group of talented and brilliant ICAP Fellows. We gratefully acknowledge the Aspen Institute, the University of Denver and the United Nations Foundation for their stalwart support.
We would like to update you on our work to diversify the funding pipeline. First, we are pleased to announce that ICAP has been approved as a Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) nonprofit. So this fall of 2016 all federal employees can give to ICAP directly through CFC. Second, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has renewed and increased its support for ICAP. Third, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) are two new funders of ICAP. Fourth, we have a new strategic partnership with the Center for Strategic and International Studies and we are thrilled to underscore our successful partnerships with the Council on Foreign Relations, the Aspen Institute, the United Nations Foundation, The Raben Group and the University of Denver. In addition to these new developments, there are other efforts to engage the private sector and other U.S. Government agencies – contact us at icapaa@gmail.com if you wish to help!
Our programming continues to reflect the identified needs and interests of our members as we strive to advance your careers and diversify leadership ranks. Keep an eye out for new programs, speaking opportunities, and for an updated ICAP website! Again, our deepest thanks to you all!! THANK-YOU!!
