We would like to update you on how we are Empowering 50 School Girls Through the Monthly IamPossible Mentorship Program.
The IamPossible Mentorship Program by Girls Education Mission (GEM) International is transforming the lives of 50 school girls by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and guidance they need to succeed academically and in life. Each month, these girls participate in mentorship sessions where they are equipped with skills and knowledge in the areas such as: Leadership Skills, Academic Excellence, Life Skills, Menstrual Hygiene,Overcoming Peer Pressure, Career Development.
The september monthly mentorship was not just about learning skills; it is about building self-esteem, fostering ambition, and ensuring that each girl believes in her own potential. The impact is evident in the girls' improved academic performance, leadership qualities, and their readiness to face life's challenges with confidence.
Gloria said:
"I will start by saying thanks to Girls Education Mission International for this program. What this program has done for me, half of my friends always give-up in life when challenge come but with this program I am possible, I have set a goal for myself, and I am positive when I resume I will get first position even in science class, though my friend do discourage me, I am making money through making of hand beads and I am saving some money to improve the business, also there are so many girls that did not have this opportunity given to us by this organization to further our education. Thanks to the Executive Director for this wonderful opportunity to pursue our dreams. I want to be a medical doctor and in the future I will be address as Doctor Gloria".
By nurturing these girls holistically, GEM International is setting the foundation for a new generation of empowered women who will lead their communities and pursue meaningful careers—just like Lois, who became a Pharmacist, and Hafsa, who became a Human Geneticist.
