Support widows & out of school children in Nigeria

The objective of This project is to provide holistic support to widows and single mother with under aged children in Nigeria. The project It covers :

Empowerment programs for Widows: Generating fund to set up small businesses, Distribution of food and clothing to women in local communities.

Community Engagement: Raising awareness and mobilizing community support to create a sustainable and supportive network for widows. and single mothers in dificulties.

In the course of implementing this project, we have successfully trained and empowered over 1000 widows in various vocational skills and petty business within Abuja, Adamawa, Delta, Ogun and Lagos state.

This project has been so successful and have created a branch in food and nutrition sector. We have embarked on feeding the street as we noticed that, there is high rate of poverty,people can barely afford three square meals par day.

Therefore the need to take food to the street and feed the people. It is also a way to engage with them directly, knowing what their core challenges are.

Today, with your support, we can gladly say that Citadel Charity Asbl is doing a tremendous work by not only empowering women to be finacially independent but by also feeding the street of Nigeria. Both women and children are benefiting from this well deserving project in this most difficult times in Nigeria. 

We believe we can reach out to more people if we get more support from our generous donors. The number of people waiting to benefit are high but the fund is limited only to a few number of people. Our volunteer team have good experience to manage a homogenous crowd if the need be, but our only challenge is fund.

In this regard, we are using this oppportunity to appreciate all our donors and call on new donors to support our work for a bigger audience reach out. Thanks to Everyone who made this possible and thanks to globalgiving for giving us access to their platform.
