Greetings to you from Health Education Adoption Rehabilitation Development Society (HEARDS) - India!
We have been getting your esteemed generous support through Global Giving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
In our target area, malnutrition is common for the working children. These children live nearby the roads in a slum. They beg or they collect garbage to sustain their daily life activities and eat for one times in a day. They are far away from a well developed society. It is found that, things which these children eat are not nutritious and that is the reason of causing malnutrition in them. These children do not have a proper knowledge of nutritious food.
This project is one of the most important programs successfully running for the last few years. The entire world knows that hunger is the basic of all necessities and thanks to YOU, DONOR. every single working child, attending HEARDS Rehabilitation Centre has faced this problem of hunger earlier, but not anymore. Your donation has successfully contributed towards nutritious and delightful meals lovingly served day after day to these special children by devoted caregivers. Every day is a delightful day for these children. We are proud to state that all our children continue to grow healthy, vibrant and cheerful thanks to YOUR generous contributions on a regular basis.
With a view to enhancing enrolment, retention and attendance and simultaneously improving nutritional levels among children, the Mid-day meal Programme for Nutritional Support to children was launched which has paved a great results among these downtrodden children.
Your hard earned money, donated to this worthy cause, has kept our children well provided with nourishing meals, keeping them in the best of health and spirit. Every child is provided with nutritious and tasty mid day meal and is much awaited. The meal is served after a prayer, thanking the Almighty for the hands that provided these meals. You made all this happen !!
