Summer Camp Report

By Dymochko Tetiana | Project Manager

Dear friends,

Thank you for supporting our inclusive camp project for families, where children with Down syndrome and their parents gain a space for development, relaxation, and mutual support.

Over the past three months, there were no active camp sessions, as our camps traditionally take place during the summer season. However, this period has been important for preparing the next phase of the project.

What we accomplished during this period:

  • Conducted an internal analysis of the previous camp season to evaluate what worked best and which activities were most beneficial for parents and children;
  • Collected feedback from families who participated this year, which will help us improve the next sessions;
  • Worked on the logistics of “CAMP–2026” (location selection, budgeting, and planning new activities);
  • Maintained communication with partners who may contribute to funding the next camp;
  • Updated project materials to better communicate its value to potential donors.

Financial Update

Funds collected earlier are being accumulated on the project’s balance and will be used to organize upcoming camp sessions.

Next Steps

We are already planning for the next season to welcome more families and create a safe, supportive environment. In our next update, we will share specific dates, formats, and preparations for the first session.

Your continued partnership is what enables us to move forward. Thank you for your trust and for helping us transform the lives of families together!
P.S. Watch the video we prepared showcasing all three 2025 summer camps!
