The children’s meeting for preparing the Play City Mini-Ishinomaki 2016 was launched. This is the activity for helping children to have a variety of experiences within the networks of a town community, through the process of working in different kinds of jobs, earning money, going shopping, and having a dream. Additionally, at the same time, the street is going to become a temporary car-free street and the street party is planned to be held there, so that all people can join and have fun.
Children prepare their shops and companies by themselves while they are using their own skills and ideas. In this time, they are organizing funny shops, such as the “trick shop” which sets numerous tricks across a town, the casino which is in complex with a police office, and so on.
Children talked to us about their dreams, and the future of the town, with their bright eyes.
What we should save carefully must be such children’s dreams, and their bright eyes. It is currently necessary to rebuild the town community with children so that children can make their dreams come true. This activity can obviously be helpful for them. The Play City Mini-Ishinomaki will take place at 1st and 2nd of October.
