Many playgrounds were lost in Tohoku region because of the tsunami damage or required temporary houses. Then, we deliver outdoor play space to the temporal houses area, open space around there, or somewhere like this. Kids gather and create opportunities for communication with parents or residents.
In the end of October, 15 people including kids and us visited six neighboring houses to ask candy of Halloween, though we had requested the families to allow us to visit there in advance. It was impressing that the adults giving candy looked so happy, rather than the kids getting it. Especially, an elderly person living alone was very pleased about meeting children. It was wonderful day to be able to feel kid’s power to connect with other people or build relations between people.
