Childline Thailand's 'The Hub' centre has had a busy start to the year providing activities to educate and inspire the 200 youths they support. in January a group of teenagers were giving the opportunity to visit Khao Yai national park to attend a 'Dream Career Camp' where the students participated in activities design to help their professional development and plan career goals. The youths don't often get a chance to escape from Bangkok so this was a good opportunity to spend time in nature and a supportive environment. It was reported by Hub staff that many of the children had an improved attitude and perspective after the camp. Also in January, the Hub organised a cooking activity which helped the children practice cooking skills as well as menus and meal budget planning. The event was a great success!
For regular info about The Hub please visit our Facebook page 'Childline Thailand Foundation' or find more on our website www.childlinethailand.org. To arrange a visit to the centre please contact info@childlinethailand.org
Thanks so much for your support, it will allow us to organise further activities for homeless youths in Bangkok throughout the year
