Tidal waves continue to destroy homes, livelihoods, and basic living conditions for families in Fuveme, a vulnerable coastal community in Ghana. Many residents lose their homes, fishing equipment, personal belongings, and sources of income after severe sea erosion and flooding. This project will provide emergency relief, shelter support, food aid, and recovery assistance for vulnerable families affected by tidal waves in Fuveme.
Families in Fuveme face repeated destruction caused by tidal waves and coastal flooding. Homes are damaged or washed away, forcing families into unsafe living conditions. Fishing activities, small businesses, and household income are heavily affected, while access to clean water, sanitation, and basic necessities becomes difficult after disasters. Many affected families lack the resources needed to recover and rebuild their lives.
This project will provide emergency relief items, temporary shelter support, food supplies, clothing, hygiene items, and livelihood recovery assistance for affected families in Fuveme. The project will also support vulnerable households with basic rebuilding materials and community awareness on disaster preparedness and safety.
This project will help vulnerable families in Fuveme recover from the impact of tidal waves, improve living conditions, and restore livelihoods. It will strengthen community resilience, reduce disaster-related hardship, and provide safer and more stable support for affected households.
