Support Ukrainian Red Cross' emergency response teams who are among the first to arrive at missile and drone attack sites to tend to the victims, help evacuate those in danger, and cater to their basic needs - such as water and food - while emergency works are underway.
As Russia's attacks on Ukrainian cities continue, more and more peaceful Ukrainians fall victim to indiscriminate missile and drone strikes. It is estimated that over 250,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed since 2022 through 2024, resulting in thousands of people loosing their lives or roofs over their heads.
Ukrainian Red Cross' emergency response teams are often among the first to arrive at missile strike sites to tend to the victims, go through the rubble for survivors, help evacuate the residents, and cater to their basic needs - such as water and food - while the emergency works are underway. They help with emergency fixes for broken windows, and in cold season they also set up heating points to offer warm shelter to those evacuated from their homes.
The project will help equip the Emergency Response Teams with the necessary tools, materials, and devices to give First Aid, provide emergency assistance to those evacuated, and help seal the damaged windows. With the aerial attacks happening accross Ukraine almost daily, thousands of people are expected to benefit from this project.
