In Mudusa/Kabare, many elderly people face loneliness, poverty, and social isolation after years of hardship. Many seniors no longer have reliable income sources and struggle to afford basic needs such as food, healthcare, and daily necessities. Some spend their days alone, feeling forgotten by their families and communities. Without support, elderly people remain vulnerable and excluded from community life.
This project creates community support for elderly people through a rotational livestock credit system. Selected seniors will receive goats, rabbits, and chickens to raise and reproduce. After benefiting, they will pass animals to other elderly members, creating a cycle of support. The livestock will provide food, small income opportunities, and meaningful daily activities while strengthening relationships among older people in Mudusa/Kabare.
