We sincerely thank you for your generous support. Because of your contribution, the December 2025 Nurture Plus Outreach reached 1,959 individuals from 400 vulnerable families, including children under six, pregnant women, young mothers, and caregivers. Families received nutritious food, health and nutrition education, early developmental screenings, and play-based learning activities that nurtured growth and curiosity.
Many families in low-income communities face multiple challenges. Food insecurity during pregnancy and early childhood, limited access to maternal and child health information, few safe spaces for early learning and play, and late identification of malnutrition or developmental delays all make it difficult for children to reach their full potential. By combining food support, health education, nutrition and developmental screening, and play-based learning, the Nurture Plus Outreach provided both immediate relief and lasting developmental benefits during the most critical stages of early childhood.
Through safe and structured play areas, children engaged in creative, cognitive, and physical activities, building confidence, curiosity, and social skills. Mothers and pregnant women joined in aerobics, games, and activities that supported their well-being while strengthening connections within the community. Your support ensured that 656 children, 205 pregnant women, 128 young mothers, and 260 caregivers received these essential services.
Thanks to your donations, children laughed, learned, and experienced structured early learning, while mothers left energised and better equipped to support their families.
Testimonial
"The program was very well organised. There were different play areas for children of all ages, including a Bouncy Castle for ages 0 to 3, a Playland, and areas with games like colouring and building with blocks. The children were engaged in age-appropriate activities, and I felt reassured knowing there were enough volunteers taking care of them. My child was having so much fun and truly had the best time of his life.
It was not just the children who enjoyed themselves. The mothers had fun too. Pregnant women played games, received gifts, and relaxed and enjoyed themselves. Young mothers, nursing mothers, and single moms all participated in activities, mingled, danced, and did exercises together. Everyone had a wonderful time.
To top it all off, we were blessed with food items such as rice, palm oil, and other essentials, which will support our families for at least a week or two. The program was not only fun and engaging but also truly supportive for both children and mothers."
