Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is trying to provide safe drinking water to the climate vulnerable deprived Sundarbans coastal community. This is why the organization uploaded a project in GlobalGiving for fund raising. Target grant of the project is 30,560 $. So far, 9 $ is raised from 2 honorable donors. We are grateful to the donors for helping us. But we couldn’t start our project activities yet due to the shortage of budget.
But we are regularly communicating with the beneficiaries. We are trying to provide them advice whenever they are in need. We have already shared the news with the community that two donors have donated to support the project and they feel very happy. But their problem is still remained the same. But it is you; the donors, can make it possible to help the coastal people for getting safe drinking water.
Villages, ``It is really difficult for us to manage drinking water during the summer season. Water gets dried from the ponds in the season and we have to walk a long distance to collect water. BEDS has tried to provide us safe drinking water but saline is still in that purified water. We don’t know what to do’’.
Here we urge the donors, please think about the deprived people and stay close to the underprivileged community.
