One of the final phases of the Child Safe Schools program focused on engaging children and parents to promote a holistic approach to child protection. Child protection talks and parenting sessions were conducted at Dep Ed Tayo Malapad na Parang ES-Batangas and DepEd Tayo Malapad na Parang NHS - Batangas, reaching 101 elementary and high school learners and 74 parents/caregivers. The sessions included storytelling on safe and unsafe touch, role-playing and the gingerbread man exercise. Snack and hygiene kits were also provided to support their well-being.
Beyond these schools, Bantay Bata reached 27 public schools in Lobo, providing educational and hygiene kits to further promote child safety and foster a culture of protection across the community.
