TRANSLATION: [You don’t have to be a reporter, an adult, or someone in a high position. No one else can tell those stories but YOU.]
Last July 19, the ABS-CBN Foundation Bantay Bata 163 Children and Youth Advocacy Council (CYAC) participated in an online Public Speaking Training session with Jing Castañeda, a renowned journalist and news anchor.
As the resource speaker, Jing shared her memorable experiences as a journalist/reporter and former Program Director of Bantay Bata 163.
This training aimed to level up the public speaking skills of CYAC members so they can better represent the youth in various platforms and dialogues.
They also learned tips on how to use their voices effectively to share stories that matter to the youth.
Bantay Bata extends its heartfelt thanks to its donors and beneficiaries for the trust and support as the program continues its mission of providing safe spaces where Filipino children are free to become who they want to be.
