The boarding facilities support Project at Future Stars Preparatory school will provide secure boarding facilities for vulnerable children from Entebbe and Kampala. Many currently face long, dangerous journeys, risking abuse, early pregnancy, and missed lessons. By completing the dormitory and equipping it with beds, mosquito nets, and inclusive support, the project ensures children can live, study, & thrive safely boost attendance, learning outcomes, & long-term opportunities for community
Many vulnerable children in Entebbe and Kampala walk long, unsafe distances to school, exposing them to risks such as kidnapping, sexual abuse, early pregnancy, and harsh weather. These dangers cause frequent absenteeism and dropout, especially among girls. Over 60% come from poor households and spend hours on domestic work or vending. Without safe boarding facilities, 100 children lack stable, secure access to education. A completed dormitory will protect them and ensure consistent learning.
This project will provide 100 vulnerable children with a safe dormitory to live, study, & learn without facing long, dangerous journeys & home-based hardships. By completing & equipping the dormitory with beds, bedding, mosquito nets, secure doors, & a supervised environment, children especially girls will attend school consistently, stay protected from abuse & dropout risks, &focus on education. The project creates a stable, nurturing space that supports academic success & long-term wellbeing.
This project will provide 100 vulnerable children with a safe boarding facility, eliminating long, dangerous journeys that lead to absenteeism, abuse, and early dropout especially among girls. In long run, children will benefit from stable learning, improved academic performance, and stronger protection.
