We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, which empowers us to continue our vital work in the community. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve, particularly survivors of gender-based violence.

Acknowledgment of Support

We would like to specifically thank our two generous donors who have contributed to our cause, enabling us to raise a total of $11. While this amount may seem modest, it has allowed us to take meaningful steps towards supporting a vulnerable woman and her family.

Utilization of Funds

The funds raised were allocated with care to address immediate needs. Our primary focus was to assist a survivor in securing a stable environment and erect as house for herself and her two grandchildren. Here’s how we utilized the funds:

• Educational Support: We prioritized the education of her granddaughter, Sarah, by purchasing scholastic materials and covering school fees for this academic third term. This decision was made to ensure that Sarah could continue her education without interruption, as the family was facing the risk of being unable to afford schooling.
• Ongoing Support: In addition to educational assistance, we have continued to provide counseling services to the survivor, offering her emotional support during this challenging time.

While we aimed to allocate funds towards constructing a new home for the family, the limited resources have hindered our ability to make significant progress in this area. We are actively seeking additional funding to address the urgent need for safe housing.

Challenges Faced

Despite our efforts, we have encountered challenges in attracting more donors to support the construction of a house for this needy woman. The current living conditions for her and her grandchildren remain inadequate, and we are committed to improving their situation.

A Call for Compassionate Support

We appeal to compassionate donors and Good Samaritans to consider supporting this cause. The woman we are assisting is elderly yet active, committed, and deeply rooted in her faith. She is eager to engage in productive activities once she has a stable living environment.
