Dear Supporters,
We would like to extend our sincere thanks for your continued support of our donkey project. Your contributions truly make a difference, and they allow us to keep moving forward in our mission to improve the welfare and working conditions of these animals.
While we are incredibly grateful, we also want to gently share an honest update. There is often a perception that we are well-funded and fully resourced, but in reality, we are still in need of ongoing support to sustain and grow this work. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in helping us meet the needs on the ground.
Progress within the project has been steady and encouraging. Our harness and bridle production continues to move forward, with each piece being made thoughtfully to ensure better comfort and safety for the donkeys. The process does take time, and sourcing quality materials can be both costly and occasionally challenging, but we remain committed to producing equipment that truly improves their daily lives.
We have also taken steps to address hydration challenges by installing several refillable water stations within one of the communities. These have been placed in key water collection areas, with the hope that they will be used and refilled regularly, especially during working hours when donkeys are most in need. This is an important step toward promoting a culture of shared responsibility for the animals’ wellbeing.
Looking ahead, our goal is to expand these efforts into additional communities, reaching more working donkeys and the people who depend on them. We are committed to building sustainable, practical solutions that not only support the animals but also empower the communities around them.
Above all, we remain dedicated to our pledge: to advocate for better care, reduce suffering, and improve the quality of life for every donkey we are able to reach. With your support, we can continue to grow this impact in a meaningful and lasting way.
Thank you for standing with us and for being part of this journey.
