When B. Ganesh joined BCT Residential High School, all he and his family hoped for was access to a quality education. Growing up in the small village of R. Narasapuram, Ganesh was raised in a modest farming family facing significant financial challenges. Despite these difficulties, he possessed an unwavering determination to learn and build a better future.

At BCT Residential High School, Ganesh discovered a passion for science. While many of his peers spent their free time playing, he could often be found in the school library, immersed in books and exploring scientific concepts. Encouraged by a nurturing learning environment and dedicated teachers, his curiosity grew into ambition.

Today, Ganesh works as a virologist in Germany. His journey from a rural village classroom to an international scientific career is a powerful example of how education can transform lives. Through his success, he has also been able to support his family and overcome the financial hardships they once faced.

Ganesh's story is not unique. Every year, students arrive at BCT Residential High School with dreams, talents, and potential waiting to be nurtured. Some come with clear aspirations, while others simply seek access to quality education. Through its unique rural-focused educational model, the school empowers students academically while also developing life skills, character, confidence, and values that prepare them for lifelong success.

Holistic Learning Beyond the Classroom

During the past few months alone, over 500 students benefited from various educational, co-curricular, and personal development initiatives. Ahead of the board examinations, over 400 students participated in the annual Vijaya Homam, seeking blessings and motivation for academic success.

Learning also happens through meaningful interactions. Students from Vidyaranya School, Hyderabad, visited the BCT campus, creating an enriching exchange where students from different backgrounds learned from one another's experiences and perspectives.

Recognizing the importance of student safety and awareness, officers from Rambilli Police Station conducted educational sessions covering topics such as good touch and bad touch, child safety, road safety, and cybercrime awareness. These sessions equipped students with practical knowledge to navigate an increasingly complex world safely and responsibly.

Recognition and Encouragement

Celebrating achievement remains an important part of the school's culture. This year, all 25 students who appeared for the Grade X examinations successfully passed, with B. Ramya emerging as the top performer with 88.33%.

Students at the Sri P.V. Venkatesan Center for the Challenged also participated in specialized programs focused on speech therapy and vocational skill development, helping them build confidence, independence, and future opportunities.

Distinguished visitors, including educational supporters, community leaders, and development professionals, visited the campus to observe the school's innovative teaching methodologies and interact with students.

Preparing Students for the Future

BCT continues to invest in future-ready skills. Through the Innovation Hub, students from Classes VI to VIII participated in coding and robotics training. Learning Scratch programming and working with LEGO Spike Prime kits, students designed and programmed 16 robotic models, explored sensor applications, and developed problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

A summer camp launched in March 2026 engaged around 100 students from Classes VI to IX in sports and team-building activities, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and collaboration. Also, a "Farewell Fiesta 2026," organized by Class IX students for their seniors, celebrated friendship, leadership, and shared memories through speeches and cultural performances.

Students also participated in "Shabala," a program focused on sustainable living and rural awareness. Through activities such as charkha spinning and folk dance, students deepened their understanding of sustainability, culture, and community values.

Thank You for Making This Possible

Stories like Ganesh's demonstrate the long-term impact of investing in education. Every classroom lesson, library book, mentoring session, safety workshop, robotics activity, and cultural program contributes to shaping confident, capable young people who can transform not only their own lives but also their families and communities.

Your support enables BCT Residential High School to continue providing quality education and holistic development opportunities to hundreds of rural children. Together, we are helping students dream bigger, achieve more, and create brighter futures.
