Ready, Get-Se, GO……. School is open again after summer vacations!!!

Yet another remarkable quarter is ahead. This quarter was full of holidays, but our team never stopped working. We prepared ourselves for the upcoming challenges because only a well-trained teacher can make a well-trained student.

Annual Capacity Building Training

Staff training has always been an integral part of the progress of the institute. Although, there was a threat of the spread of Coronavirus still our management planned and executed Capacity Building Program for the Teaching staff. The program was carefully designed to help the staff learn the emerging teaching techniques while keeping in view the strict observation of Covid-19 SOPs.

Training of Mainstream School Teachers

Since 2009, Rising Sun has been playing a very active role in the empowerment and training of mainstream school teachers to facilitate inclusive practices.

The National School reached out to us for the training of their teachers.

Based on their specific training requirements, an interactive training workshop on Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Speech & Communication Problems was organized by the Rising Sun team.

Team members from the center for special education also attended the training.

Annual Summer Internship Program

Empathy - putting yourself in others' shoes - makes you understand how the world looks from their side.

Our Summer internship program provides youth with diverse abilities the opportunity to interact and experience this world with an inclusive perspective.

Dreams Do Come True

A memorable moment for us and the families of Imran and Faraz, our two students have been employed by ECS. The CEO of ECS gave them employee badges and welcomed them to the ECS team.

Finding mainstream employment for our students is the ultimate goal towards their financial empowerment. We always keep struggling for it and YES dreams do come true.

The Holy month of Ramadan is coming to its end and we are all busy gathering blessings of Allah in the month of Ramadan. 

This quarter was splendid as the students of Rising Sun enjoyed a whole term without any interruption as it was witnessed in the last 2 years due to COVID-19.

We deliver fresh lunch to your office!

Gosha-E-Aafiyat project of Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society has started its delivery service for the offices now. We deliver freshly cooked lunch to the offices where people enjoy their homemade food at an extremely controlled price. Our Special Chef project, with the help of our Special Staff, is expanding its services to reach more and more people through their delicious food in a cost-effective manner. 

 Celebrations of World Down Syndrome Day

World Downs Syndrome day was celebrated by our Mughalura campus team. Our student Ahmad and his mother were the chief guests. Children performed on the stage and showed their talent to the world.

Sports event of Motor Activity Training Program (MATP)

A sports event for Motor Activity Training Program (MATP) was organized by Rising Sun in collaboration with Ripha  University. Chief Guest of the event witnessed the dedication of the staff of Rising Sun and its students. His motivating and joyful presence made the event more memorable for all of us.

Children participated in various activities and enjoyed their moments.
