It was an amazing quarter; full of educational, therapeutic, and vocational activities along with co and extra-curricular activities.
Diversity is beauty
We at Rising Sun always appreciate & celebrate diversity. A few glimpses of cultural diversity celebrations by our students
MATP (motor activity training program)
In collaboration with Riphah International University, we organized an MATP workshop. Participants of the workshop took part in various games and activities and enjoyed their time.
Sports Activities
Along with the educational and learning activities, our students participate in outdoor games and sports as well. A colorful event of sports was organized by the staff to help our students enhance their sports capabilities, skills and sportsman spirit. Students enjoyed several games and won prizes for their participation.
Visit of Secretary Special Education Department Punjab
It was a pleasure to welcome Ms. Saima Saeed, Secretary Special Education, Punjab, and Mr. Tariq Mahmood, DG Special Education, Punjab at Rising Sun. Ms. Khaula Uzair, Deputy Director Curriculum also accompanied them. After a detailed briefing, they visited the facilities of the institute. Different avenues for mutual collaboration were discussed. Respected guests highly appreciated the dedicated hard work of the Rising Sun team. They also presented a shield to Mrs. Perveen Tawwab, Founder & President of Rising Sun.
Awareness Activity for Self Protection
Learn to protect yourself!!
A very informative activity by our senior section to make our students aware of potential risks to their safety. Children should be given ample training in self-protection to save them from abuse and harmful people.
Parents Awareness and Learning Workshop
We conducted a training workshop for the parents of our students. In order to sensitize and equip them with the required knowledge to handle, teach and train their children at home, our team gave them informative lectures. Parents were given live demonstrations to help them understand the needs of their special children. Students also performed on the stage to bring more colors to the event.
Your financial support is helping us face this hard time and serve our students at their homes. Our staff is fully dedicated to proving that we stand together to face any problem and we will not leave our students unattended in any case.
