Dear friend,
I am happy to share with you that the past few months were great at our Peace Farm.
We managed to involve a local farmer to help us with huge amount of grass. Due to a rainy Spring grass was taller then ever and in collaboration with a local farmer this year we are feeding many cows and sheep from our farm. The planting season started later but we managed to grow some vegetables with help of our Gardeners for peace, local families who work with us in the vegetable garden.
Unfortunately we had some frost in May wich killed all the fruits so we will have only figs and wallnuts this Autumn.
In May we had our Peace camp on the Farm and hosted several national and international peace groups.
People from the local community continue to come and spend heir time, some meditating our the Pond, some playing walleyball and others walking in the forest or through the Peace farm.
Our plan for this Autumn is to finish the water collecting system which will include 5 more ponds, 4 fish ponds and one swimming pond.
Also we plan to establish a new vegetable garden which will be more protected from the wind and late frosts that are main challenges for our previous vegetable garden.
We started to develop a architectual plan for the Seminar house and we will share it with you as soon as it is done.
Thank you for your love and support. Without you none of this would be possible.
