Preparations are well underway for Silkroad's 2026 Global Musician Workshop, and we are excited to be on track to welcome 70 talented musicians from around the world to Boston this August. This year's cohort represents 27 countries and brings together artists performing on 26 different instruments, creating an extraordinary environment for artistic exchange, collaboration, and innovation.
Guided by an exceptional faculty—Mike Block, Eddie Barbash, Hanneke Cassel, Ara Dinkjian, Jamey Haddad, Mei Han, Veronica Robles, and Balla Kouyaté—participants will spend the week learning, creating, and performing alongside some of today's most inspiring global artists.
We invite you to experience the excitement firsthand at the Global Musician Showcase on Tuesday, August 18, at Jordan Hall in Boston. This inspiring opening concert launches a week of extraordinary music-making and celebrates the next generation of artists building bridges across cultures through music.
