By JAMES MUKIIBI | Project Leader

DearFriends,

In all our different faith backgrounds, we know there was a creator and that our existence is not merechance. Manythankstoour creator whohas keptus safe and wishing you

Prosperous new year  2024.

Amidst many challenges including theft leading to death of staffs, death of our lovely mother veronica, Poor school fees payments from the fees paying students, children regular sickness etc.  You have helped vulnerable children in our care with feeding, security, educationand a roof etc. Your impact has gone across 60 vulnerable in addition to the guardians’ children who livewithsomeof ourchildren.

So many things thrill me

-          Food has been provided on monthly support from friends in Australia and UK with additions fromourfarm output.

-          The Joy of our children has been on over the year ,2023.

-          Schools to open up on 05/02/2024. Excellent results from the recently released UNEB Exams for both primary seven and secondary four in grades one and two.

-          Semakula Gerald completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law and graduation was 29/01/2024 , many thanks for the school fees support to him .

-          Self-study at GLS has been facilitated; However, the lack of facilities like books etc. has made it     hardforthechildren

-          Our FirstAid kit alwaysstockedandminorproblems dealt with

-     We have grown food at our farm. It acted as our children farming skills

We have had to keep adjusting the GLH working schedule to allow for the theft attack and many other medical issues.

 – Motorcycle(hired) has been used in carryingfood.Theolder girls maintained their determination to go on a lower budget,Last Christmas they shared in the GLH goat,Well donethem!!

We depend very much on your continued kindness. However, we have set clear targets to becomemore self-sufficient. There is a financial target for the farm to achieve and another for the school todevelopasurplus. Please askifyouwishtoseethe2023 Annualauditedreport

Please continue to pray and to help and ….JamesMukiibi  Mobile: 0788963985 Email:james.mukiibi@yahoo.com
