There are currently 60 orphans/ abandoned children under God's Love Home who need to be sent to school, fed, clothed, provided with medical assistance and shelter. Leaving them without help means putting them at risk of starvation, disease and sexual persecution, as they are not guaranteed basic rights. This project will affect more than 60 orphaned Ugandan children.
At the start of each term we face a crisis in that we do not have the money to pay the school fees. This project, in full, would raise the resources to build our own small school; the fees from the surplus places would pay for the teachers and other school expenses, and also support the orphanage. We would aim to set standards of teaching and care that would be a benchmark for schools around.
The project will educate more than 60 orphans allowing them to rise out of poverty, which will provide for their families' health and well-being. The school would continue for future cohorts.
