This project will provide emergency relief and recovery support for 500 flood victims in Ghana who have lost homes, belongings, and livelihoods due to severe flooding. Many affected families face displacement, hunger, unsafe living conditions, and limited access to clean water and healthcare after disasters. This project will help vulnerable individuals and families recover through emergency assistance and basic humanitarian support.
Flooding continues to affect many communities in Ghana, causing destruction of homes, schools, farms, and public infrastructure. Families affected by floods often lose their possessions and sources of income, while children and vulnerable individuals face increased risks of hunger, disease, and displacement. Emergency support is often limited during disaster periods.
This project will provide emergency relief items such as food, clean water, hygiene supplies, temporary shelter materials, clothing, and basic household essentials for 500 flood victims. It will also support recovery efforts to help affected families regain stability and improve living conditions after the disaster.
The project will reduce suffering, improve safety and health conditions, and help flood-affected families recover more quickly from disasters. Beneficiaries will gain access to essential humanitarian support and improved resilience during emergencies. Over time, the project will strengthen community disaster response and recovery capacity in Ghana.
