Thanks to our donors through Global Giving since June 2018, 1 more woman in Eskisehir was able to get a loan to invest in her micro business. S.A. has been earning her living by making and selling paintings. Painting is her main passion and her dream is to open an exhibition. With her first loan, she bought paint brushes and oil colors.
Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD7,400 through 122 donations through Global Giving and disbursed loans to 21 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 21. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs.
