SANAR FOUNDATION RESULTS REPORT 1st semester 2022

Fundación Sanar Niños con Cáncer supports 160 patients (boys, girls, young people, and their families) diagnosed with cancer improving their life quality, by meeting their primary care needs and helping caregivers.

An individual activity plan is implemented for patients who need to improve their levels of functionality and personal independence through the implementation of essential daily activities.

40 occupational therapy kits for patients to continue their learning process and take advantage of free time in the hospital have been distributed.

23 individual follow-ups of cases with a high need for attention in the occupational therapy area have been carried out.

40 patients participated in the activity of painting and decorating t-shirts in commemoration of Childhood Cancer Day in the hospitalization and outpatient area.

300 transportation aids were given for patients who needed to go to the National Cancer Institute to comply with all chemo-therapy and/or radiotherapy sessions.

SANAR  has also helped 400 children undergoing treatment, by helping them to buy proteins, vegetables, and fruits.
