LUDIC THERAPY PROJECT REPORT

By Melba Rojas | Director of FUNDACION SANAR

LUDIC THERAPY PROJECT

At the Sanar Foundation, we always celebrate the lives of children, their birthdays are a date to share life and joy. A group of magicians and singers bring magic and company to the patients.

A group of 35 children were invited to the cinema, to watch the film “Giants, an Extraordinary Adventure”, they also enjoyed the games and ate a delicious pizza.

The hospitalized patients receive notebooks, pencils, and crayons to get ahead with their schoolwork, and thus, through play, they continue their school life.

With 40 patients, we visited a mining Company called Minminer in the municipality of Cucunuba. The patients learned about the industrial process of transforming coal into coker, they played, received gifts, and learned about the amazing process of transformation of this precious mineral.
