Project will support education, meals, cloth, uniform, and book, medicine artificial equipment etc for disabled and vulnerable children who are coming from the poorest sections of society in India.
India has some 70 to 80 million people living with disability, it is about 30 per cent of them are children below the age of 18 years. Poverty is the biggest cause of disability in India. Illiteracy and poverty among the disabled in high. Children with disabilities are five times more likely to be out of school more disabled children are residing at risk position. This project will educate more than 2000 disabled children, poverty will be removing from the society they will stand their own feet.
Institute will provides meal, cloth, uniform, and books, medicine artificial equipments etc the mothers are trained in child care and they are also taught to share their new knowledge with their home based education for disabled children.
The project will educate 2000 differently able children of poverty stricken families of a urban slum and rural area provides life skills education and productive skills training to live independently with dignity.
