Balajothi Centre for the Disabled is a registered charitable trust, founded in the year 2004. It is not a religious trust. Its doors are open to intellectually challenged children from disadvantaged families, irrespective of religion, caste, creed or community. Parents are encouraged to participate in our programs through songs and prayers of their respective religions.
Sumitha (name changed) is intellectually challenged and very poor. She needs therapy and training on Activities of Daily Life (ADL) in order to make her an useful and independent person. Her parents being very poor cannot afford to provide her with such training. This project will help in gathering funds to achieve the goal amount that can provide Therapy and Training for Sumitha for an year.
Apart from Sumitha there are several disabled children who need help in order to overcome their disability and become better persons. YOU ARE MAKING THIS TRANSFORMATION POSSIBLE THROUGH YOUR GENEROUS AND REGULAR DONATIONS. THANK YOU DEAR DONOR for your selfless giving of $270 to date.
Balajothi thanks GlobalGiving for raising funds through their fundraising platform without which this service to the disabled could not be achieved. Our grateful thanks to them.
