In the course of our search for neglected disabled children from underprivileged families we came across a girl, aged 14 years.  Sumitha is a very active child (she is also diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) in addition to mental retardation.  However, undaunted by her several limitations this girl is an engaging child, filled with curiosity and asking questions almost non-stop about things around her.  She lives in the now defunct town of Kolar Gold Fields, amidst hutments, left to herself as both her parents are forced to leave her alone in their  search for any kind of manual labor, in order to earn a mouthful of food.

Balajothi and her parents are very grateful to YOU, DONOR, who have donated a magnificent amount of $ 270 in order to meet the needs of Sumitha.  Please rest assured that the child will be well taken care of and all her needs for a decent living will be met.  Periodical reports with pictures will be sent on her well being.

At the end of the day it is what we do, however small, to help a poor needy person that will define our true self, as we travel through life !!  THANK YOU DONOR FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND SELFLESS GIVING.  MAY THE ALMIGHTY FILL  YOUR WITH ALL THAT IS JOYFUL AND GOOD !!
