This project will build a home for orphans infected & affected with HIVAIDS in Western Kenya, providing health, education, feeding programme and home care for 100 children majority being the victims of the post election violence in Kenya in the year 2007/2008.
The community in Likuyani are living below poverty line. Due to such many of the young mothers engage in extra marital exercises in turn infected or affected with HIV/AIDS. Due to lack of knowledge and ignorance the community has suffer directly and indirectly. Mostly the infected/affected children will directly benefit by accessing proper education and proper care. it will reduce stigmatization. It will also a center of cancelling for the entire community.
PCF will provides nutrition, medicine, and health care infected/affected children. The children home nanny's will be trained in nutrition, cancelling and child care. The community will be involved especially mothers who will be sensitized on how to live with affected within the society.
We will take care of over 100 affect children health and nutrition. Be able to give them quality education and provide the community with a platform on how to live with infected, Abstain from extra marital sexual activities. This will in turn open an avenue of a new chapter of income generating activities such as fruit farming, organic foods farming for use and commercial.
