Of the 482 beneficiaries reached, 303 were women and 179 were youth, reflecting our continued focus on reproductive health access for women alongside sustained engagement of young people in SRHR and GBV-prevention awareness.

Activities Delivered

• 200 community outreach sessions delivering education on sexual and reproductive health rights, family planning, and GBV prevention across Jinja City and surrounding communities.
• 140 clinic sessions providing direct SRHR and maternal and child health services to women and youth.
• 306 home visits conducted to follow up with beneficiaries, monitor progress, and reach individuals facing mobility, stigma, or access barriers that prevent clinic or outreach attendance.

Impact Snapshot

This quarter's activity mix shows a programme that reaches beneficiaries through multiple channels rather than relying on any single point of contact. Nearly two-thirds of beneficiaries were women accessing direct health services and rights education, while sustained outreach to 179 youth continues to build awareness among a historically underserved group. The high volume of home visits — exceeding both outreach sessions and clinic sessions combined relative to households reached — reflects our team's commitment to meeting beneficiaries where they are, particularly those who cannot attend scheduled sessions.

Voices from the Field

In communities like those our outreach teams serve, young women often first encounter reliable reproductive health information through a home visit rather than a clinic visit. A typical case this quarter involved a young mother in her late teens, reached through door-to-door follow-up after missing an earlier outreach session. Field staff walked her through family planning options, safe maternal health practices, and where to access GBV support services if needed. Cases like this illustrate why home visits remain central to our model: many beneficiaries face transport costs, childcare duties, or social stigma that keep them from attending sessions directly, and a home visit is often what closes that gap between awareness and access.

Looking Ahead

Building on this quarter's reach, Amazing Life Foundation is preparing a new funding round to scale up the Community Reproductive Health Strengthening project into additional communities in and around Jinja City, extending outreach, clinic, and home-visit services to more women and youth.
