1. Introduction
Amazing Life Foundation (ALF) is a registered Community Based Organisation working in Jinja City, Uganda, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, maternal and child health, and youth and women's empowerment. Since 2018, ALF has implemented the Community Reproductive Health Strengthening project with support from GlobalGiving, delivering health education, GBV prevention outreach, and referral linkages to underserved communities.
This report covers the current funding round, which focuses on scaling up project activities to reach additional beneficiaries and extend services into new communities beyond ALF's existing outreach area.
2. Background and Rationale
Prior phases of the Community Reproductive Health Strengthening project established a working model of community health talks, peer education, and referral support within Jinja City. Demand for these services has grown beyond ALF's current coverage area, with requests from neighboring parishes and villages for the same level of support. Without expanded outreach, women, girls, and young people in these areas continue to lack access to accurate reproductive health information, GBV support pathways, and referral links to health facilities.

This funding round builds directly on the foundation of the Community Reproductive Health Strengthening project, extending its proven approach to communities that currently lack access. With this support, ALF aims to widen the reach of reproductive health education and GBV prevention services across Jinja City.
